Triumph & BSA

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Due apparently to some hacking by hostile forces and other problems sadly, a really useful website the Triumph and BSA Scooters page shut down with the loss of a lot of data, information and many interesting threads and contacts.

Vespa and  Lambretta owners are well catered for on the net generally and by their own make clubs and plenty of suppliers.

The less well known marques have less support out there in the marketplace as anyone trying to get work done or spare parts purchased know and we do have experts on these within the club who can help if you join up.

With no one free to take up the mantle, (apart from a small Yahoo group in the US and a Facebook group) as webmaster I thought I might, on behalf of the VMSC (& on a temporary basis at least) have a page for TriBSA owners for now to go on.

The longer term aim is to get a forum running as a source of info and then extend it out to the other makes such as Capri, Cezeta, Dayton, Durkopp, Diana, James, Manurhin Concorde, Moto Rumi, Parilla, Swallow Gadabout, Velocette and Zundapp

Keep checking back for information later as we add to it as we go there are some plans to improve things & may be a new dedicated site in the near future. For now I have a google drive full of manuals and service sheets courtesy of the very kind donation by Corin Mills who ran the previous TriBSA scooter site and has given free open source access to enthusiasts to all the documents that were available on the forum before . He has invested a lot of time and money so please be fair and do not copy for resale on auction sites or similar platforms.

Another star who has run and modified and improved these machines with a wealth of knowledge is Tony Spillane who has also just donated a copy of his book detailing the modifications and technical details that irons out many of the flaws of Edward Turner’s original design. He has also given open source access to his book

WE ARE CURRENTLY TRYING TO UPLOAD TONY’S BOOK PLEASE BEAR WITH US WHILE WE DO THIS
